Crisis

This is a digital illustration of a city that has been destroyed by the arrival of alien creatures. I wanted to create something with a lot of detail and experiment with how a city would look if aliens suddenly fell from the sky. I used a thin line to create most of the drawing, then I went back through with a thicker line to highlight parts of the drawing. The alien creatures were inspired by barnacles, attaching themselves and digging in to wherever they land. They have tentacles that come out of their hard shell and a large, central eye.
